Liturgical Ministries
Altar Servers
The primary role of the altar server is to assist the priest and deacon during the Mass so that the liturgical celebration can be conducted with grace and reverence. Because of its close proximity to the Sacrament of Holy Orders, boys and men are invited to exercise this ministry which kindles and strengthens spiritual fatherhood.
Training and formation is provided for those interested. Call the parish office or speak with a priest for more information.
Chorale and Choir
The music ministry at St. Robert is a very active and integral part of parish life. St. Robert Chorale has a rich tradition of singing sacred music that ranges from Gregorian Chant, the classics, to modern composers.
Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm in the music room, and choir breaks for the summer months. Contact Faith Yassick at music@srbcatholic.com for more information.
Extraordinary Ministers
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are trained members of the parish who assist in the distribution of the Eucharist to the assembly of believers at weekend and special feast day liturgies throughout the year.

Lectors
"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that one who belongs to God may be competent, equipped for every good work."
Lectors are trained to reverently proclaim the Scriptures in the liturgy, a living Word which has the power to save and transform us. Those with a love of Sacred Scripture who discern a desire to proclaim God's Word may please contact the parish office at (810) 659-2501 or email

Ushers
Ushers minister as sentinels in the House of God. They keep the doors, receive visitors and members in a Christ-like fashion, provide direction and security to worshippers, ensure that worship is carried out respectfully, and perform ushering duties in a cheerful manner.

Welcoming Team
The Welcoming Team is the first face of the Kingdom that people meet before they even walk through the doors of St. Robert. This important ministry is filled with parish members whose charism is hospitality and whose smiling faces strive to greet Sunday worshippers by name.

Coffee & Donuts Crew
Do you enjoy coffee and donuts after 8:30am and 10:30am Masses? The parish provides all the supplies. These volunteers help organize the coffee and donuts and provide a welcoming environment for members of the parish community who gather together for fellowship after Mass.
