Parish Ministries
Art and Environment
As the liturgical seasons of the Church change, so do the decorations and art in the sanctuary and the church. We can always use more volunteers for this ministry. If you would like to become involved in this ministry, please email
Roni Vanitvelt or call her at (810) 659-5131.

- National CCW causes such as the annual Madonna Collection
- Scholarships for Catholic high school and college-bound students
- Mother’s Day Mass cards
- Maintaining Mass linens

Covered in Prayer
Covered in Prayer Ministry at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish involves the sewing of blankets given to those who are ill or suffering in any way.
Caring volunteers commit to prayer for the recipient as they fulfill their part in the sewing and distribution of the blankets. All blankets are blessed by a priest. Find out more by contacting
Sue Hrit or
Donna Root.

Delightful Diggers
“The Delightful Diggers” of St. Robert is a gardening ministry. The goal of our ministry is to increase the beauty of the grounds that surround our church and school. We want God’s beauty to shine through in all seasons through His creation of flowers, grasses, ground cover, shrubs, and landscaping. If you have a green thumb or would like a volunteer some time making our property beautiful for all to see, contact
Nancy Morgan.
Homebound Ministry
Many members of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish live in skilled nursing care facilities, assisted care facilities, or are unable to travel to and from church to attend Mass.
A core group of Extraordinary Ministers adopt one or two parishioners to bring to them our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Most visit weekly or every other week. If you'd like to serve those who are homebound or find out more information, you can contact
Bob Vance.

Parish Pastoral Council
The mission of the St. Robert Pastoral Council, as a partner in faith, is to advise and assist the pastor in planning and coordinating the spiritual and material needs of the parish through its various ministries, helping St. Robert grow in holiness and promoting our communal life of faith in all its richness.
Pastoral council members represent the groups and populations of our parish and bring a hunger to serve our families as liaisons and organizers. Questions, concerns, and hopes can be brought to our council president
Bob Vance for group prayer and consideration at our council meetings.

MOM Group
The St. Robert Ministry of Mothers group (MOM) exists to develop relationships and foster community among mothers of young children at our parish and school. We seek to support and encourage one another to deepen our relationship with Christ as we live out our vocation as mothers. If you'd like to know more or stay in the loop about our meet ups, you can contact
Sarah Gatica.
